A new story, at the right time
Our next project dedicated to Sloughi was born from a special protagonist: Vardamak Wardat Al Sahra'a
Litter expected in early 2027
The choice of the future stallion is still being evaluated
The starting point: Wardat

Every breeding project stems from a vision and a desire to convey the qualities that make a dog special. For us, this starting point is Vardamak Wardat Al Sahra'a. We love her personality for its balance between reserved and participatory, her calm and quiet nature, which leaves room for playtime, and the way she combines independence and trust in her relationship with us. It is precisely this combination of sensitivity, autonomy, and cooperation that we appreciate so much in her. Even from a morphological standpoint, Wardat represents a highly typical Sloughi for us. We particularly appreciate her typical Sloughi expression and the finesse of her head, qualities that we feel are deeply connected to our vision of this breed. It is from these qualities, her personality, and our vision of the Sloughi that the project for the first months of 2027 is taking shape.
The criteria that will guide the choice
The choice of the future stallion will be guided by the desire to identify a subject morphologically compatible with Wardat, capable of enhancing his qualities without deviating from the type that we recognize in Sloughi.
Pay attention to the health of the sires and the inbreeding coefficient. The goal is an outcross mating
Maintain a typically Sloughi character: independent, sensitive, reserved but collaborative
The litter will have predominantly sand coats with black masks, like the two subjects we are evaluating
Evaluation of proportions, expression and typicality, in line with the breed standard
A conscious choice
Finding the most suitable male requires time and careful consideration of all the aspects we consider essential. We prefer to dedicate the necessary time to the project, ensuring that the mating is consistent with our vision of the Sloughi and the responsibility we feel toward the breed. Once the project is finalized, we will share the profile of the chosen male and the reasons that led us to this decision.

"A project born from a bond with a dog and looking to the future of the breed."
