Latar was a male Sloughi with an introspective and independent nature, true to his quietly reserved character.

He loved nothing more than roaming freely across our hills alongside his sister Bayk, his lifelong companion with whom he shared every step of his journey. His strong prey drive was an unmistakable part of him, reflecting the ancestral instincts that remain so deeply rooted in the Sloughi.

One of his most distinctive quirks was his love of digging into mattresses and sofas, determined to burrow his way inside and create a little hideaway of his own, where he could curl up and disappear from view.

Latar was our first male Sloughi and the dog who introduced us to this extraordinary breed. With him began a journey that would lead us to fall deeply in love with the Sloughi and its truly unique nature.
